Michael grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. After graduating from high school, he attended IUPUI and IVY Tech Community College, receiving a degree in HVAC.

Michael is married with 4 children, 1 son and 3 daughters. When Michael is not working, he enjoys coaching youth football and spending time with family.
